What is the Fun Run?
The Fun Run is Carpenter Elementary's biggest fundraiser of the year — and a school-wide celebration of fitness, teamwork, and Cougar pride. Students collect sponsorships from family and friends, then spend Fun Run Day running, dancing, cheering, and making their way through bubbles and obstacle courses together.
Why we do it
100% of every dollar raised stays at Carpenter. Funds support:
- 📚 Classroom & library resources, including our Book Vending Machine
- 🚌 Experiential learning, like field trips
- 🖍️ Teacher grants for classroom needs
- 👩🏫 Professional learning for teachers
- 🌳 School beautification projects
Incentives
Prizes are earned at three levels — individual students, whole classrooms, and school-wide. This year's goal: 100% participation from every Cougar.

How families participate
- Watch for the paper pledge form coming home Thursday, September 3.
- Register on MyBooster starting Friday, September 4 — it opens the online pledge page students can share with family and friends.
- Cheer on Fun Run Day, Friday, September 25.
- Keep collecting pledges September 25 (closes 11:59:59 pm).
- Prizes are distributed October 2–10.
